Short-term joint staff training events

 

"The use of non-formal methods in teaching/learnig - the European context"

 

7-11 of September, 2015,

Vocational School of Forestry and Carpentery "Nikolay Haytov", Varna, Bulgaria

 

 

 

 

The visit started with a training course entitled "The use of non -formal methods in the teaching /learning in the European context". The guests were shown a presentation about the variety of techniques that can make learning process easier and more attractive to young people.

 

Attention was paid to the fact that these new methods allow easy receptivity and improve psycho-climate in the classroom. They were also presented many opportunities and advantages of the new, interactive teaching methods that are going to be published in the handbook.

Participants from five countries had the opportunity to learn about the experience of Bulgaria from taking part in other projects. The afternoon continued with a workshop ‘How schools could cooperate and apply together the non-formal teaching methods?’. the guests continued their work to discuss the publications of the guidebook on the project.

 

During the discussion was commented the structure of the methodological guide and were distributed the duties and responsibilities of the individual partner-countries. The Bulgarian team is going to work on "Informal learning methods - Trends and Prospects". The afternoon continued with a debate on the possibilities for applying the method Forum Theatre in class.

Another task rose: to work out three lessons applying that method and to record them.

On the day before leaving, the program began with debates and discussions about the plays staged.was held Workshop on "How to increase creativity and cooperation among the group."
